Information on your device
CekSaldo reads supported contactless cards locally on your phone. It stores the latest readable balance and transaction snapshot for each saved card, including the card number as read, along with language, scan-feedback, balance-visibility and other app preferences. These card details are not uploaded to CekSaldo during an ordinary balance scan. Device backups may include app data according to your operating-system and account backup settings. The app cannot recover records that the card has overwritten or does not provide.
Optional online toll receipts
If you choose to check online toll receipts, CekSaldo sends the selected card number and date range directly to each toll operator's public receipt website: AstraTol, Serbaraja, Citra Persada, Travoy (Jasa Marga), JLB, BSD Tol, Tol Makassar and JTD. Checks run only when you ask, after you give permission. The initial date range covers the previous 30 Jakarta calendar days, including today. You can choose 7, 14, or 30 days before checking. The provider and its website services receive the request and may process it under their own privacy policies. CekSaldo does not proxy this request through its servers or include card numbers or receipt contents in its analytics, crash reports, or logs. Receipts and provider check details are saved separately on your device until you delete them or clear app data; device backups may retain a copy according to your settings. You can revoke permission to make future checks at any time. When Premium+ limits are active, Free users can read the newest five transactions in each history source; later rows are masked. Premium+ can read all saved records, export Card, Online, or Combined history as PDF or CSV, and print a selected history. Export files are generated on the device and include the selected date range and available receipt details. Original receipt files downloaded from these websites stay on your device, excluded from device backups, until you delete them in Settings > Storage and data, delete the card, or clear app data. A receipt image leaves the app only when you tap Save or Share; CekSaldo asks only for permission to add images to your photos, never to read them, and what you save or share is then outside CekSaldo's control. When a saved receipt and a transaction read from your card are the same payment (same minute and amount), CekSaldo updates the saved card record on your device to the receipt's time, amount, and balance. If that payment's location is not one CekSaldo has verified, it also shares the toll gate printed on the receipt as a location correction for the terminal code the card recorded, the same way Correct location does; this sends no card number, time, amount, balance, or receipt number.
CekSaldo receipts and verification QR
For a toll trip or parking payment read from your card, CekSaldo makes a receipt with a verification QR, so someone you show it to, such as your finance team, can check it at ceksaldo.app/verify. To make the QR, CekSaldo sends that transaction once to its signing service on Google Cloud (Firebase Cloud Functions in Jakarta) the first time you open its details. The request carries the card number, the time, amount, balance, the terminal and merchant codes the card recorded, and the location name. A PDF or print export with Add verification QR turned on sends its card transactions the same way. The service returns a signature and does not store the request or write it to logs. It is tied to the app's anonymous Firebase identifier only to allow the request, not to a name or account. The QR itself contains the full card number and transaction details, so anyone who scans the QR or sees the receipt can read them. Share a receipt only with people who should see it. The verify page checks the QR in the scanner's browser and sends nothing back to CekSaldo, except when an older browser asks ceksaldo.app to run the same check, which is not stored.
Optional Community
If you join Community, Firebase anonymous authentication creates an app-specific identifier used for your Community profile. A joined profile can show your username, balance tier, latest successful scan date, current scan streak, founder number (when assigned) and Premium+ badge. You choose whether your latest balance and card issuer are public; your current streak is public while you are a member. Other app users can read public profile information. Leaving Community removes your profile from the active public feed. Copies or caches made by other users and retained service backups may persist.
If you submit or correct a shared location name, CekSaldo sends the issuer's location code and the name you entered to its Firebase project. This feature does not send GPS coordinates. Published shared location names may remain available after you leave Community.
Analytics and diagnostics
CekSaldo uses Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring and Remote Config for app usage measurement, crash diagnosis, performance measurement and feature configuration. Analytics can record scan outcomes and broad failure categories, supported card issuer, app version/build, platform, help views, and Community and sharing actions. A random scan-attempt reference can connect events from one scan in raw analytics records; it is not a card or account identifier and is not configured as a report dimension. App events exclude card numbers, NFC identifiers or payloads, balances, transaction details, usernames and Firebase account IDs. Google Firebase may process app-instance, device, app-version, crash and performance information under Google's applicable terms and privacy documentation.
Premium+ and payments
CekSaldo uses RevenueCat to display App Store or Google Play products and check whether a purchase from that store grants Premium+ access. RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription information and the app's anonymous Firebase identifier, which is also the identifier of your optional Community profile. CekSaldo's Firebase project stores, for that identifier, only whether Premium+ is active, when it expires, the plan, and whether it comes from a purchase or the allowlist, so the Community Premium+ badge can be checked. The app cannot read or change that record. Apple or Google Play processes payment details; CekSaldo does not receive your full payment-card number. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings on iOS or Google Play subscriptions on Android, and use Restore Purchases in CekSaldo to check eligible purchases.
Premium+ access may also be granted to an app identifier included in a Firebase Remote Config allowlist. This list is delivered to the app and is not a security boundary.
Website analytics and download survey
When you tap a download button on ceksaldo.app, the site asks once where you heard about CekSaldo. Answering is optional; skipping it still takes you to the download. The site stores only your answer (or that you skipped), which button you tapped, a broad platform (iPhone, Android or other), any campaign tag in the link, your country as estimated by Cloudflare, and the hour. It does not store your IP address, browser details, or any identifier, and the answer is not linked to the app. Your browser remembers that you were asked so the question is not repeated.
When you open a download link (ceksaldo.app/download), the site counts the click with the same kind of details: the campaign tag in the link, a broad platform, which store it sent you to, your country as estimated by Cloudflare, and the hour. Link previews made by chat and social apps are not counted.
The website also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, pages viewed, the site that linked to us, country, device type, and how fast pages load. It uses no cookies or local storage and does not give you an identifier or follow you across other websites. None of this website data is linked to the app or to you.
Website headline test
The home page shows one of three headlines on each visit. To learn which one is clearest, the site counts each page view and each download-button tap together with the headline shown, the button, a broad platform (iPhone, Android or other), any campaign tag in the link, your country as estimated by Cloudflare, and the hour. It does not store your IP address, browser details, or any identifier. Your browser remembers the last headline it showed so the next visit shows a different one.
Support reports and sharing
A standard support draft is prepared only after you open the support flow and choose a channel. It can include your device model, operating-system version, app version/build, language/region and the subscription status available to the app. You decide whether to send the draft through Telegram or WhatsApp.
A separate failed-scan report may include card identifiers or raw NFC responses. The app explains this before you choose a channel. CekSaldo does not send the report automatically, and its contents are excluded from analytics.
Service providers and retention
Apple and Google Play provide their respective store distribution and payment processing; RevenueCat provides purchase-entitlement services; Google Firebase provides the services described above. Card history remains in local app storage until app data is cleared or CekSaldo is uninstalled; platform backups may retain a copy depending on your settings. Community profile data is removed from the active public profile when you leave, subject to service backups and security, legal and operational retention. Other users may retain their own copies or caches. Shared location mappings may be retained so the lookup remains useful.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can scan cards without joining Community or purchasing Premium+. In Community, choose whether your balance and issuer are public, or leave Community to remove your active public profile. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes local app data from that installation; it does not leave Community or cancel a subscription. Manage Apple subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. For a privacy question or request, open CekSaldo Settings and use the support options; you choose whether to send the prepared message.

Struk CekSaldo dan QR verifikasi
Untuk perjalanan tol atau pembayaran parkir yang dibaca dari kartu Anda, CekSaldo membuat struk dengan QR verifikasi, agar orang yang Anda tunjukkan, misalnya tim keuangan, dapat memeriksanya di ceksaldo.app/verify. Untuk membuat QR, CekSaldo mengirim transaksi tersebut satu kali ke layanan tanda tangannya di Google Cloud (Firebase Cloud Functions di Jakarta) saat Anda pertama kali membuka detailnya. Permintaan berisi nomor kartu, waktu, nominal, saldo, kode terminal dan merchant yang tercatat di kartu, serta nama lokasi. Ekspor PDF atau cetak dengan Tambahkan QR verifikasi aktif mengirim transaksi kartunya dengan cara yang sama. Layanan mengembalikan tanda tangan dan tidak menyimpan permintaan atau mencatatnya di log. Permintaan hanya dikaitkan dengan ID Firebase anonim aplikasi untuk mengizinkannya, bukan dengan nama atau akun.
